In reviewing the statistics for the North Lake Tahoe Truckee Real Estate Market 2015 vs 2014, we can see that the sales volume for single family homes is lower this year despite selling more units. The reason for this is that the homes sold for under $1,000,000 increased this year whereas fewer luxury market (over $1,000,000) homes sold compared to last year.
Overall condo sales are down over last year as well but we’re only seeing a difference of .5% in the median price over the same period in 2014. Days on the market are 20% lower on average which means they are selling faster when they come to market. Luxury condos (over $1,000,000) are taking a little longer on the market before selling.
