Located on Donner Summit, this area is not a place for those shy of the snow. While the majority of the residents are of second home owners, there are some hardy souls that brave it out on a full time basis. One may enjoy the proximity of Royal George, Sugar Bowl, a variety of other high altitude ski resorts, mountain biking and tons of hiking. The lot prices range in value from $75,000 and homes begin at 200,000 to over a million for lakefront. House prices in the neighboring areas of Soda Springs, Norden, Kingvale, Pla-Vada and Cisco Grove range from $250,000 to $450,000 and may sometimes be accessed only by skis or snowmobiles. |
