Easter Events for the whole family to enjoy! Easter Events in North Lake Tahoe is a time for the families to take part in the activities our community offers. It falls on the weekend of April 14th this year; the town of Truckee and all of North Lake Tahoe’s resorts are offering up many special events. I’ve done some of the legwork for you…
Easter in the Truckee River Regional Park – Saturday April 15th at 11 am at the Truckee River Regional Park the Easter Bunny will arrive. Bring your own Easter Basket to hunt for Easter Eggs. Kids will be put into groups by age. There will also be free face painting, candy and prizes. You won’t want to miss out on the fun! The Easter Egg hunt will begin exactly at 11:30 am. Special Easter Events at the Northstar Resort – Activities will take place in the Village and on the Mountain. Dash for over 5000 eggs! Get pictures with the Easter Bunny roaming the village, participate in a jelly bean contest and listen to live music all day. ~Easter Egg Dash: The Northstar Village Overlook will be filled with over 5,000 candy and toy filled Easter Eggs for our Annual Easter Egg Dash! Kids will be invited to begin their egg hunt at 10:30am, on the dot, to collect a basket full of eggs. A word to the wise, arrive early, once the kids are let loose, the eggs are gone within seconds! Please bring your own basket for collecting all the eggy treasures.
~Spring It On! Activities: includes a DJ, Face Painting & Balloon Twisting!
~Jelly Bean Contest: Test your Jelly Bean counting skills! Visit on Easter Sunday for your chance to guess how many jelly beans are in the jar.
~Interdenominational On-Mountain Church Service: Enjoy an Easter Sunday worship service in the fresh air and beautiful mountain setting with an interdenominational worship service sponsored by Tahoe Resort Ministries and Northstar California. The service will take place on the mountain at the top of the Vista Chair Lift at the Cross at 2pm and will last between 15 and 20 minutes.
Easter at Squaw Alpine – Easter traditions are so fun to do with the whole family! Searching for colorful Easter Eggs in the snow…what could be more enjoyable!
