The Truckee Donner Public Utility district has a program offering rebates for the purchase of energy efficient appliances. $100 each for an Energy star rated refrigerator, dishwasher or clothes washer, and rebates also available on water heaters, if purchased after May 16, 2008 . Squaw Valley joins with Alpine Meadows

Tahoe-Mackinaw Fishing
For a great day on Tahoe, try fishing or a boat ride with Micky, a long time local who knows a great deal about the lake and the fish. He has been tagging fish for 20+ years.
